The accolades pop-up screen is being improved to include some stats related to the particular accolade being "celebrated". For example, if a partnership reaches 50, then the screen will show the partnership time, balls faced and the runs contributed by each player.
Thanks to Kevin Berry, the first to suggest these improvements.
Additional ideas welcome! |

Hi Dev
Good idea from Kev, if you are going down this approach (and it's not asking too much) could it also show the mins/balls for an out batsman's accolades and/or when they are dismissed with the umpire-out screen. This would save a lot of time and effort for us scorers who also keep the pen and paper job for the technically challenged, as at the moment we need to dig down into the batting/bowling areas to obtain this info. No hardship but hey, I am lazy if a computer can do it for me.
Cheers

Even better, thanks Pat. While we're doing that, we could also add the bowler accolades at the end of each over, with figures for the last over, as well as cumulative.
Vaughan (see separate posts under General) who scores while umpiring from the middle, would probably prefer fewer interruptions, though. I suspect we would need to control the proliferation of accolade screens using a suitable preference button, to cater for the different perspectives of umpire/scorer or scorer only. |

Dev is right, I would like to keep the accolade screens out of my way when I am using it for umpiring. I understand how the scorers may wish to have that information readily to hand. _________________ Regards,
