Palmcricket

Guys,

Recently I installed the the 1.30d version of P cricket, obviosuly because I was fascinated when Edward let me see the outcome of using wagon wheels. So promptly I go into the preferences and check on Record/show wagomn wheels and try a mock scoring on my PALM III, the palm went fatal error i.e it says "fatal exception". Tried the soft reset and tried a couple of times same thing. If I go back and uncheck wagon wheels, the palm is just fine.

Do you'll think it is the Palm?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Anil

I have used the wagon wheel function on a number of palms, including the latest 1.30d. My current palm is the Palm Lifedrive and have no suchissues. I do not have a palm III to check it on, so will leave it up to Dev to hopefully read this and reply.

Palmcricket was designed and developed on the m100 which
runs PalmOS 3.5

The operating system on the Palm III is too old, pre PalmOS 3.5.
According to the Palm web-site, it runs on PalmOS 3.0.
It can be upgraded, but only to PalmOS 3.3,
so no luck there.

You would need to upgrade to a model that can run on
PalmOS 3.5 or higher, such as the m100, at least.

Recommended: Palm Zire 21, the best low cost unit, all round.
